The owners wanted to utilize a narrow attic space for their library. However, the dimensions of the room and angled ceiling prevented the use of conventional bookshelves. We created custom shelves that were recessed into the attic eaves, which provided ample space for books and other items while preserving maximum floor space in the room.

The owners of this home wanted a “catominium” so that their pets could safely enjoy the outdoors. A pet door in the home’s exterior wall gives the cats free access to their play area. We added a door for the owners to easily clean the space and retrieve toys. Ledges and climbing ramps give the cats ample choices for sunning and observing a nearby bird feeder.

Often, an area requires a custom approach to cabinets and shelving. In our “Friendly” kitchen project, cabinets were specially constructed to match the originals and work with the new refrigerator. Custom floating shelves finished the look. In the Hendrix bathroom, a custom cabinet was built to convert limited space into storage with a rollout shelf.
