Project Overview
This whole-home remodel was designed to support a meaningful life transition. After retiring, Jody relocated to Greensboro to be in the same neighborhood as her daughter—who was expecting her first child. The 35-year-old home she purchased was worn and dated, and she wanted to begin this new chapter in a space that felt warm, welcoming, and truly her own.
Win-Win Remodeling partnered with Jody to reimagine the kitchen, living spaces, and bathrooms—creating a beautiful, light-filled home designed for connection, comfort, and everyday joy with family.
The Challenge
While the home was structurally sound, it no longer reflected how Jody wanted to live in this next season of life. The kitchen lacked storage and workspace for hosting family. The living room felt dark and dated. The bathrooms were worn and didn’t offer the comfort or style she envisioned for her forever home. Flooring varied from room to room, making the home feel fragmented rather than cohesive.
The goal wasn’t just to “update finishes”—it was to transform an outdated house into a place that felt like home in a new city, and a gathering place for a growing family.
The Design Vision
Create a cohesive, welcoming home that supports a fresh start and meaningful family connection. The design focused on bringing in natural light, opening sightlines, elevating everyday spaces, and creating moments of comfort and beauty that make hosting family feel effortless.
